I’ve heard I should mow my lawn to a certain height. What is it, and why?
Answer: Ideally, you should mow your lawn to a height of 3 inches. Grass this tall will crowd out weeds and shade the soil, allowing it to retain moisture longer. The lawn will develop deeper, healthier roots. A 3-inch mowing height creates a lawn that’s naturally resistant to weeds, drought and disease.
