The Wedding- Part 1 of 3

A few months back I blogged about doing the centerpieces for an upcoming wedding. Well, the time has come.

The progress? So far so good.

The budget? I'm kicking it's a**

The wedding is Saturday afternoon, so put on another pot of coffee!

Step 1: lining up all the pots to make sure I have the right amounts of each size. A trio of containers will go on each table.

Step 2: divying out all the goods to make sure I have the right stuff to go around. Then I filled the pots with soil and sat on that little milk crate for several hours so I could get to step 3.

Step 3: watering them in and getting them ready for their fancy aluminum sleeves that will hide the plastic growers pots. Of course this is just a fraction of what I need. Here's the mock-up...

These are just held together with duct tape but for the final product I'll be using a pop rivet gun. Doesn't that sound like a hoot?

The forum is the LAST place I'll be in the next couple days but on Monday? I'm setting up a hammock in there.
