Tip of the Week: Keeping Track of Pruners

Submitted by on March 2, 2010 – 12:03 amNo Comment

This week’s tip comes from reader Wendy Andresen. She has figured out a great way to keep garden pruners handy and secure.

She writes:

I sewed a triple-thick strip of denim on the side of my designated gardening jeans, right about at the height where my hand hangs down. I clip the holster for my pruners on it. It’s easy to reach when I have long shirttails or a jacket on—compared to being up underneath my clothes as it would be if clipped to my pocket. Since I’ve started using this handy clip-on holster strip, I’ve never lost a pair of pruners.—Wendy Andresen

Thanks, Wendy!
