We Love ‘Enchanted Eve’ Tickseed

The vibrant red, orange and yellow of ‘Enchanted Eve’ tickseed livens up the garden from summer through fall. This is the latest introduction by master hybridizer, Darrell Probst. After 10 years of intense breeding and research, gardeners are treated to an easy-to-grow plant that survives cold temperatures down to negative 20˚F.

Flowers: Large, single fluted yellow flowers with a vibrant red-orange center

Perennial

Not too fickle, this tickseed does well in most soil types and resists drought once established. For best results, plant ‘Enchanted Eve’ in full sun in well-draining soil. To keep the blooms going, deadhead spent blossoms. It has a tidy mounding habit that looks great in the garden, along the front of the border or in containers. This plant is disease, mildew and deer resistant and attracts butterflies.
