Garden Tours

Garden tours for passionate gardeners are the essence of Horticulture magazine's unique garden travel programs. When you want to discover gardening around the world, from Charleston, South Carolina, to Provence, France; Auckland, New Zealand to Phoenix, Arizona; then these special "in-the-garden" visits are the ones to join. Developed by Horticulture's Director of Programs, Nan Sinton, and led by Sinton and other Horticulture editors, these adventures in gardening are far more than simply a garden tour. Drawing on the magazine's unrivaled network of garden writers, photographers, and correspondents, these visits take participants to the best and most unusual private and public gardens, specialty nurseries, and memorable landscapes.

Can you imagine yourself walking in fields of lavender in the south of France, seeing magnificent cactus in southern Arizona, or strolling through bluebells in English woodland? The scenery is often breathtaking, the architecture magnificent, and the hotels specially selected for comfort, ambience, and delicious food. Best of all, the number of participants in each tour program is always kept small so that Horticulture's visitors and the hosting garden owners can really have a chance to chat and exchange ideas.

Registration is now open for the following garden tours:
