Join Marvin’s Organic Gardens for an interactive discussion and workshop on planning, planting and maintaining edible containers and edible gardens for smaller spaces.

10 a.m. Saturday, July 17 at Park + Vine, 1109 Vine Street. Wes Duren from Marvin’s will discuss ways to grow many varieties of herbs, vegetables, fruits, edible flowers, mushrooms, edible shrubs and small trees, and grow them 100 percent organically. Learn about soil preparation, organic fertilization, beneficial soil organisms, watering and natural pest control.

All attendees receive a free organically-grown plant. RSVP René Brunelle before July 16.
