Right Time, But Not The Best Time

Bad to the phloem! It’s the right time to cut back the raspberries, but I didn’t have the best time doing it. It’s all brambly and mosquitoey back there and even though it’s a ton cooler than it has been, it’s hard to pay attention when you’re sweating.

I’m all scraped up, bloodied and itchy.

Anyways, I cut back all the old ladies that bore fruit this year and…lo and behold! I found my long lost flock!
