In need of a quick fix of compost, I just sit a milk crate on top of a plant bucket of just the right size…
Dump in some compost and shake. I like to pull off the stuff that rises to the top and get it out of the way of the real magic…
I scored enough compost to fill a couple 2 gallon plant cans in under 5 minutes.
Sure, it’s not finely screened- but it still works like crack for plants. Trust me.
