Plant Umbrellas
May 20, 2009 by Pam BaggettSummary
There’s no reason you can’t stick cuttings directly into your garden beds. Plan to keep the soil well watered and to protect the cuttings from strong sun until they’ve had time to root. You may end up with a garden full of plant umbrellas and tiny pup tents, but if it saves time it might be worth putting up with a few silly questions from visitors. (“Um, darling, I hate to ask, but why do you have a Hanna Montana umbrella in your garden?”)
