Virtues: A patch of Little Bluestem waving in the wind is truly a wondrous sight. It resembles ocean waves. Excels in dry, sandy soils.

Foliage: Blue-green foliage that turns a striking crimson in autumn.

Habit: Forms clumps

Season: All year

Companions: Native prairie flowers
